Scooters galore were everywhere in Ho Chi Minh and it's vicinity. Crossing the road took skills and nerve of steel for those who were not local to this city. Forget the zebra crossing it does not work here, Just step out and move forward slowly but confidently across the road. The local warned never to dash across the road and never back-up, just move a step at a time while keeping an eye on traffic.
